International Thomas Merton Society- Christchurch Chapter

Tuesday 21 February 2017, 7:30 pm @ LCM Centre in Durham Street

The Christchurch Chapter of the International Thomas Merton Society holds its meetings on the third Tuesday of every Month at the LCM Centre in Durham Street, where there is plenty of off street parking.

The meeting starts at 7.30pm with half an hour of silent prayer.  This is followed by discussion on a reading from one of Merton’s writings, which is circulated to members by email or post a week beforehand, to enable people to read the material under discussion.

The society is an ecumenical group and people from all walks of life are cordially invited to participate.  Meetings start at 7.30pm with discussion at 8pm finishing at 9pm, following a monastic timetable espoused by this Trappist monk.
